Review Information

Rules

  1. Only send the application once. Your application will be processed within 24-48 hrs.
  2. Once I get your application you will appear either on the sidebar (max of 5 pending showed on the sidebar) and/or on this page.
  3. Please link us BEFORE applying & keep our link up FOREVER, if not your review is coming down.
  4. Tell me where you have linked me in the "Comments" section.
  5. Make sure your website is FULLY updated and no layout changes will happen during the review.
  6. Reviews generally take 2-4 days to be completed. I may have a lot of reviews, if I do, please just ask me if I have gotten to your review. If not, you are free to make changes until I get to it. I will let you know via email right before I get to your review if I have a lot of reviews.
  7. You may ask for a re-review if you have looked through the review and had made most of the changes I have stated in the review.
  8. If you want to back out of a review please fill ou the form and let me know.

Review Template/Outline

The total score you can get for a review is a 5. The rating is not a soul review on how good your website is. We also like to give mixed fractions like 1 1/2 /5, We will simply write that like 6/5 or 1.5/5. The rating is just a rough estimation on how much we like your website from 1-5 where 1 sucks and 5 is amazing.

We will have a tiny screenshot of your layout plus a link to your website, your name, reviewer's name, the browser that we are reviewing you in, and the date we finished the review. These will all be the first thing that you look at when you see a review.

  1. Your Site Name- How much we like the name and some things we don't like about it, if any.
  2. First Impression- What we thought when we first saw the layout and whatever is on the main page.
  3. Coding/XHTML Errors- We will go here & here to check your coding and make sure it is validated. We will give you some suggestions on how to make your coding better, if any are needed at all.
  4. Browser Compatibility- How well your layout looks in multiple browsers (idea from reviews @ hd).
  5. The Layout- How much we like/dislike the layout and why we don't like the layout. If we like it, we will name some things that could make it better.
  6. The Content- How much, if any, content you have for your visitors. Even if your website is a blog website, we will review that.
  7. Organization- How easy it is for someone to find something quick on your website.
  8. Overall- This will be where we give the score on your website. We will also overview on the most important things you should change on your website and give you some extra tips that weren't listed before.
